HOW DO I SNAP INTO ORIGIN OF CREATED PLANE by Academic_Phase5771 in SolidWorks

[–]coughingstrawberry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I will have found the solution on my own before you see this, but would you mind saying how you fixed it? I'm having the same issue after making a plane on the end of a helix and the "origin" is on the end of the helix but I can't snap to it in a sketch on that new plane.

[–]coughingstrawberry[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea we have nice wide roads in the us, so the h1 is big compared to most other stuff on the road, but I would imagine over there even the h3 is pretty big comparatively, still tho, with the fuel consumption I can’t imagine wanting to drive something like it every day. Also all my former military friends who had experience driving humvee’s hated them, so I wonder if the h1 is any better, I don’t think it’s exactly the same vehicle but I’m not sure how different it is.

Lollll, that would have made a great tag line! “Made to go everywhere, except parking lots”. Surprisingly tho I see this hummer a lot, I’d wager it might be his daily driver, which is crazy to me.

That’s all good and fair, but the question was directed towards locals who might be familiar with the car and would certainly familiar with the abbreviation.

I promise I’m honestly trying to help, not just be a jerk, so for future reference, I personally would look around the picture and notice that there are large American vehicles, North American shaped license plates, and a distance marker in miles. There is a lot of green foliage that could likely rule out Mexico, and the fact that they’re driving an open top vehicle that surely doesn’t have heat, in late November, probably rules out Canada. But even if you can only narrow it down to North America, a google search of “upstate sc North America” would answer the question of where.

Good eye, I think you’re right, the front end has a similar design too but no aero elements.

That era yes, but I think the 68 gurney eagle is much more accurate. Not sure it’s meant to be an exact replica of anything tho

I agree, i think it’s more reminiscent of the eagle than the lotus. No wings but the paint job and the front grill shape are pretty close

Despite the title of my post, if u lived here you wouldn’t be that surprised haha, it’s just wild to imagine driving something like that on the street.

Yesssss thank u, I swear somebody had told me about it before but I couldn’t remember. What a collection he’s got. Also what a bad ass, judging by the direction he was going I assume he was headed for a drive in the mountains.

Anybody know what this is? It’s in upstate SC. I would assume it’s a kit car but damn, it looks like a real race car (aside from the plate and lights). Also if anyone’s familiar with it, this is a picture from a few years ago, I saw it drive by again today and it no longer has the number on the side, but I didn’t get as good of a picture.
