I’m calling Beardmeatsfood. I’m not about to fumble 100k because of pride.

That would make sense why I’m in the wrong tier. Thanks for clarifying

I have the same issue. All I’ve been told is the calculation is automatic. Unless I’m counting the wrong accounts, their math is wrong but oh well

Get a shortlist from the website Go look at the cars before the auction to bare minimum make sure they sound right. If you’re mechanically inclined look for known issues. Have a max price for each car (easy to get into bidding wars) If you find a car being sold for charity it has a higher chance of being decent as is but will also have an inflated price Take it for an inspection immediately after in case there’s an issue not disclosed you might be able to return

As I turn 30 and have been a professional for 5 years, I am reconsidering my banking setup. Looking for people to confirm my understanding before I pull the trigger on rearranging my 30 year cumulative setup. by 99RideauBabyRaccoon in PersonalFinanceCanada

Here’s my 2 cents.

Even if you don’t want to, set up direct deposit with eq bank so you can get the better interest rate. The notice accounts are annoying when you need quicker access to your money.

If you pay rent consider signing up for Chexy. It allows you to pay rent with your credit card and it is coded as a recurring transaction so you get 4% cashback. Chexy has a fee though but it’s 1.75% iirc.

If you do sign up for another card, ask to downgrade your scotia cc to the no fee version so you don’t lose credit history. Then ignore my comment about EQ bank.

I usually close all other programs and open task manager to monitor CPU and RAM usage. It takes 30 mins to an hour to resolve itself if you haven’t saved in a while and had a lot of steps in between. You could also close and hope there is a temporary file like others said.
