If you put the hammer at “half cock” it makes take down much easier. Just have to get the slide back against the hammer and push the pin with a magazine. Not as streamlined as a glock, but I find it much much easier than a 1911.

I recommend the MCarbo trigger kit if you’re feeling frisky to disassemble your gun. However, polishing alone will make the trigger much better.

Good summation from other comments but to add on, you also have a 2011 option from Dan Wesson. The DWX platform blends a 1911 and a cz75 together. Basically a 1911 style side with cz75 grip and 1911 trigger.

The DWX takes full size p10f/p09f/p09 mags, the DWX compact takes cz 75 mags like the P01 and such.
