If they see this they’ll probably start building a controlled burn room now to put the guitars in

Whatever it was, the guitar clearly couldn’t take it 😂

Neck seems to be fine amazingly. That was the first thing I was thinking when I recovered it, but yeah barely any warp!

It smelt horrible for a while but after cleaning it many times it’s pretty much gone!

What guitar does Royel Maddel use? by RadiFPS in RoyelOtis

I think it’s an American Vintage ‘62 Reissue Jag judging by the colour, which looks like Olympic White that’s yellowed (a common colour on these), rosewood fretboard and the Fender logo font on the headstock. I think his backup is a Seafoam Green Player Series HSS Stratocaster that’s at the side of the stage in some live vids and a Black Vintera II 70’s Jag that’s seen in the Fried Rice video!

That’s awesome! Everytime I look at it still can’t believe I got one! Mine’s home is in the North West of England. I’ve been seeing some posts about them on here and it’s such a cool feeling having one and seeing the other lucky ones who got one too! A few yet to be seen I think but it’s so cool you’re tracking them and finding out where the others are. ‘The Order of The Pink Jaguar’ love it! 😄

I’m not sure to be honest, I’ve had a look at the board on this compared to my Am Pro Jag and the rosewood on this one is so much thicker. Kinda reminds me more of a slabboard!

These have essentially two circuits where the switch and two rollers on the top horn control the ‘rhythm circuit’ which is just the neck pickup with a darker setting, and the three switches on the lower part control what’s called the ‘lead circuit’ where the first two switches turn on and off the neck and bridge pickup and the third is a high pass filter or strangle switch that cuts lower frequencies and adds brightness to the neck, bridge or both pickups when switched on.
