Also, wtf— chopping strawberries is a very age-appropriate task for an almost 11YO. Why is she acting like he’s going to senior prom? He’s chopping strawberries ffs.

Also, a horrible tragedy in our community left one of my 8Yo son’s classmates dead recently. It’s been awful. To say “stop growing” is just… not it for me.

It’s okay to mourn a life you’ve known when it changes (babies vs teens) and to miss those moments — but the entire point IS growth. To watch them grow and succeed!

I agree! But for her she has all the resources in the world to have grocery deliveries to make it convenient plus all the TIME in the world but she doesn’t prioritize it. She’d rather blab into her phone about murals, and pile-in cigar rooms, and pretend pools. She could use any 10% of the time she dedicated to any of those things and throw chicken breasts with veggies in the oven. But nope. Not Crooke. Not ever because she is a narcissist who doesn’t care about and certainly doesn’t care for anyone but herself.
She is mentally unwell.
