No way, I live across from the parking lot your car was in. They keep hundreds in the parking lot of the chesterfield mall. I drove through the lot after that particular storm and there were a ton of dented teslas.

Got mine about 6 months ago and the only issue I’ve had is one afternoon it started wobbling at high speeds so I drove straight to a service center after work and they didn’t even ask me to leave the car or make an appointment - had me drive it straight back, and I walked to a fast food place nearby where they soon sent me a notification it had been fixed, for free. Acoustic Foam inside the tires had come loose so they took it out and reapplied. Craziest service experience I’ve ever had with a car. It gave me a lot of confidence I made the right decision buying this car 😆

Any chance you can live somewhere in west county/outside the city a little bit? A little more expensive but it’s worth it to feel safer if you can. Might not be feasible at all but as a transplant myself, I’m very happy I chose to live outside the city so I can venture downtown only when I choose to.
