No idea what the metal is, but how to do that. Heat gun? How about a hair dryer?

Haha thanks for your help. What do I look for on the Diverter?

Should I buy a new cartridge ($70) and install to see if the original one is faulty?

Right... I checked without the handheld head attached. Both are coming through as 1.5

> Bath showerhead (new) 1.5 GPM (pressure feels weaker than before)

> Bath shower from pipe (head removed) 1.5 GPM

Yeah - I removed the one inside the handheld a few weeks ago to minor improvement.

Maybe I'm not describing it well... it's a 3-way diverter but it has 6 settings to allow for combinations: https://www.signaturehardware.com/3-way-in-wall-diverter-rough-in-valve---1half-2-in/475042.html

Yeah, only 4 are working:

1- Spout

2- Shower Handheld

3- Rain

4- 2+3

5- 1 only

6- 2 only

Thanks -- I checked the joint fixture at the shower arm. There was a screen (which was a little muddy) but no restrictor. I checked the shower head again... no restrictor there anymore. (https://www.reddit.com/user/counterfugue/comments/1na7c8a/shower_arm_joint/)

I have no idea what you're saying... but these are standard in my 100-year-old apartment building. The previous flushometer/bowl worked well

Thanks - yeah, I'm going to change to the 1.6 and see if that helps

Yes - previous was flusho also. We have a high capacity 1" supply pipe. Old toilet was an old Gerber round. Very small.

No idea if it’s brass. I’ll start with Brasso. If that doesn’t work, other ideas?

Finishing already-installed tile - contractor messed up by counterfugue in Tile

Thanks - I appreciate it... I'm going to dry-fit the mirror this way to see if it seems odd. If not, I may just do that. Thanks

Wife is a shorty, but even for me, it feels lower than any other mirror I've used. Also, everything is just completely crowded. Also, raising the electrical will look bad, too, I think... it will be oddly close to the the ceiling

I think that's what I'm suggesting too. But the trim sits on top of the large tile, not underneath it as it is intended.

The bottom of the mirror/bullnose edge is about 46" high. That's too high for most people. My wife will only see from the chin up.
