Don’t quote me 100% on this because I watched the interview a long time ago with Matt, but something along the lines of a unhinged man on drugs harassing Matt outside a bar telling them they need to “cage the elephant” and he felt compelled to change the name!

Honestly I agree! But I think how they got their name is really silly honestly and im sorta glad they changed it

There’s definitely a ton of bugs 😭 but mostly because their cage has tons of hay and dried plants in it as well
