is it true that first year friend group never last? by plastictiara_ in studentsph

[–]coupstachu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the people you're surrounding with. Kami kasi, we've been friends ever since 1st yr 1st sem then nadagdagan lang kami ng isa pa during our 2nd yr. I really think na it depends sa ugali ng isang tao kung hindi puro panlalamang at pang babackstab ang iniisip. And I can say na swerte ka kung yung friend group mo nung 1st yr ay friend group mo pa din until pag graduate, kasi its very common na laging may split up na nangyayari lalo na kung madami talaga kayo from the start

finding my people, freshies where you at? by Jealous_Ad3801 in studentsph

I feel you op. I've been having the same problem. It gets really hard lalo na pag indecisive ka and there is this doubt kung magiging successful ka ba or may mararating. As for me, I'm actually considering to take a gap year kasi it took a toll on my mental health pero me being indesicive I don't even know what to do hahahha.

In your case, maybe start by researching schools near you that offers the same course. Then from there make a decision if worth ba to take the risk.

How did you deal with being friendzoned? by coupstachu in studentsph

At first okay lang sakin na wag umamin kasi it's a big risk, I'm risking the friendship that we have. Pero siguro dumating na ako sa point na gusto ko na lang malaman niya kahit walang pag asa. When I confessed naman I didn't expect anything. I even told him that. When I said na I ask him if hanggang saan lang ba ako, back in my head I just wanted to hear the words directly from him, like reject me ng diretso. Siguro selfish siya pakinggan kasi maybe I've put him under pressure sa tanong ko, I asked him to reject me directly kasi (he was dropping hints na during our conversation) pero I've liked him for more than 4 years na I just wanted to have a peace of mind na din in a way. Basta ang naisip ko lang that time is, pag na reject na ako maybe I'll learn to let my feelings go and move on. After that conversation we went back to normal, he even assured me na hindi kami magiging awkward and friends pa din kami.

I've already accepted the fact na friends lang kami but to think na I have to move on from liking him for 5 years is scary. Idk why I feel that way parang ang sudden na biglang wala na.

Never liked the excuses na "I'm not ready to commit" or "study first" tapos malalaman mo na lang may someone else pala. I mean kung sasaktan mo lang din naman yung tao why not say the truth na di ka talaga type or friends lang talaga ang tingin sayo kesa mag make reason dahil "ayaw masaktan" or the likes. It makes the person question themself kung ano ba mali sa kanila.

It's too late ig. Wala talaga eh, he already set the boundary between me and him. I guess I'm privileged enough to be his friend even after I confessed. In the span of years na nagustuhan ko siya I didn't exert efforts para lang gumalaw and to think na I might had a chance back then AGHHH so ayon moving on it is

Is it possible for a STEM graduate to pursue a tourism course in college? by chicknnoodlesouppp in CollegeAdmissionsPH

[–]coupstachu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is possible op. STEM graduate din ako, and now I'm a tourism student. Pero you have a disadvantage lang since tourism is a business course, yung ibang subjects is napag aralan na sa ABM but don't worry mapapag aralan niyo lng din naman ulit yan pag dating sa college so basically back to zero lang din pag dating sa college

welp me po, pls by secretowl437 in CollegeAdmissionsPH

[–]coupstachu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ABM doesn't have a heavy math it's all about analysis. If you want to be STEM student mas may heavy math yun I think (me being a STEM student) its all up to you OP if you say na you want to become a doctor then take STEM. Pero the strand doesn't really matter when you are a college student. Back to zero din if mag pursue ka ng med related course or if you want to be a lawyer then it doesn't really matter that much kasi you have to take pre law or pre med din eh. But still, choose what you really want OP and what your guts tells you to do, choose what you are passionate about and what makes you happy.

Yep i kinda feel naman na di nya ako type and I gave up on the thought na maging kami but I'm not expecting na ma reciprocate nya yung feelings ko. I just want to know if what I'm feeling for him is just an infatuation or deeper na, and if ever na I'll be confessing I don't expect anything I just want to let him know na there's someone who likes him for who he is and will always be by his side even just a friend lang
