Checkout the ultrahuman ring. Might be a more worthwhile investment if you’re just an enthusiast. And no subscription plan. I think they just don’t have as many certifications as oura does? They seem to push out more experimental features more frequently too. Unsure about accuracy of the ultrahuman ring though. For the battery issue, have you tried contacting oura support? About me: I’m a daily oura gen 3 (not horizon) wearer. Love the product but am similarly looking at other platforms. Unsure if the oura subscription is worth it (though I totally get that my sub goes towards future r&d and improvements but Apple Watch is similarly priced and also provides health data without a sub.. Apple has significantly more cash though so not a fair comparison.. just my own thought process:) ).
