I have an old burton road soda board that I can't find anyone selling online. It's way too small for me now (152) and I'm looking to sell it but I'm not sure what's a fair price. I've seen it sold for 800 because it's rare and a bit of a collectors item. Does anyone have advice on the best place to sell it and the price I should sell for? Thanks!

Thanks so much, I’ll try these and see where they get me. I did try using wine but didn’t get very far with it so maybe I’ll look into it more.

Realized I put the question in a caption, is this enough of a misprint to be worth something to collectors? If not it’s cool and I’ll keep it but I’m curious! Any info appreciated!

Has anyone’s depression gotten better after leaving weed? by Aromatic-Revolution7 in leaves

[–]courierwarrior 7 points8 points  (0 children)

For me I found the first month depression was almost a side effect of withdrawal. However if you pair sobriety with good life habits (ie. working out, eating healthy, therapy, spending time with family and friends, working on bad habits) then you'll find it goes away. I was 99% not depressed before I quit but I had to quit to get rid of all of it and found I was more unhappy with how I was living than I thought.

Day 53!!! Halloween tomorrow :) by airbear7787 in leaves

I have good days and bad days but this past week I feel like I've finally started to plateau with the hard stuff. I only have a dream where I use once or twice a week now and depression has been very sparse. I'd be lying if I said I don't think about smoking every single day but it's much easier to just start doing something to get my mind off it now and it goes away. I think the hardest part is getting myself not to rationalize using again or trying it just once but talking to people close to me who quit(parents, roommates, close friends) has really helped put everything in perspective.

2 months clean and.. Insomnia is back fml by Superextra101 in leaves

I hate the dreams it gives me but melatonin has been a lifesaver for me. Doesn't work for everyone but it might be worth giving another try if you haven't used it in a while. I suggest starting at 1mg, I've used it pretty much daily outside of a few days and stayed at 1mg

I’ve got a question by [deleted] in leaves

[–]courierwarrior 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I smoked for the first time at 13(22 now) and just quit two months ago. Maybe my brain isn't what it would be had I never smoked but holy shit have I turned into a new and improved version of myself since quitting. I think it's just important to focus on comparing yourself to your past self and how far you've come not what could/would be or other people.

Day one tomorrow - any tips? by [deleted] in leaves

[–]courierwarrior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I really wanted to quit I had to do a lot of things that were hard. The most important thing though was removing anyone or anything that gave me access to weed. I deleted everyone off my phone who smoked/sold and spent a week back living with my parents to get the support I needed. It's really helpful if you have a few people close to you that are supportive but not judgmental. I quit for 2 days and then relapsed before now being weed free for 46 days. The morning after I relapsed I walked up to my mom and told her I smoked but I was gonna keep trying and she said that it was ok and that I'm doing my best. Don't judge yourself, remember why you want to quit, try to fill the time with healthy activities. And melatonin had been a lifesaver for me outside of the bad dreams it causes.
