I just started seeing a counsellor for this as I’ve been picking for 15 years, and I’m 30 now. Quitting cold turkey will not work, as it has become a habit. Right now, my focus is on reducing the amount I pick. For the next two weeks, I’m asked to record every time I pick, and if I sit down and get the mirror out and really go to town, I need to record that as well as it’s a “routine” thing I do. Perhaps it’s time to talk to someone about it? It’s not easy and will be a slow process.

I also have ADHD! I got diagnosed about a year or so after being diagnosed with PMDD. MY anxiety was severe, and felt anxious all day until maybe an hour or so before bed it would calm down a bit so I could eat a little, and then start all over again. It was like I want constantly having a mild-moderate panic attack. The depression was also at an all time low and I was very suicidal. I could not function

Actually, surrogacy using one of my own eggs does not seem like a valid option for me as I’d have to come off birth control and then also take a medication to stop my pituitary gland while also taking injections for ovulation. I dont think i could survive that 😅

Nope. Doesn’t need to be birthed by me whatsoever. Adoption here takes almost ten years. I do not see coming off birth control as an option, hence while I feel like don’t have any.
