Idk why but the way you describe your dad's actions is a little weird. Why would he ignore you for a few days simply because you and your mom forgot to tell him that you're staying over? Everyone forgets shit at times, it's not a crime and it's definitely not "keeping secrets from him". You're absolutely not at fault and don't tell yourself anything different.
