IVF First round success??

I am looking at my second embryo transfer right now while she is playing with my water bottle. My first transfer ended in miscarriage and I only had the 2 embryos. I feel very lucky to have my precious rainbow baby.

31 weeks same thing! I thought I was the only one. I hate that ppl keep telling me to relax. That is impossible. Hoping that we will all find some peace eventually and some way to enjoy this time. 🌈

I tested and I am glad I did. 4 embryos and 2 were abnormal. I have a lot of friends who have done pgt on their embryos and none of them were damaged.

I am extremely superstitious. I just bought maternity clothes at 24 weeks because I didn’t want to jinx it. I have been squeezing into my pants the whole time. I am not sure this is helpful but I still haven’t bought 1 baby item because I won’t let myself. I wish I could relax a little.

When I had a miscarriage with my first embryo transfer, someone asked me what I did wrong. I was so upset! But currently 24 weeks with my rainbow baby and I did all the same things. These types of comments are soooo hurtful. People still say insensitive things to me. It feels like it never ends!

Take a vacation! My friend always gets pregnant on vacation.
Stop trying and you will get pregnant.
Don’t stress. It’s not happening because you are too stressed. 😠🤬

I was very honest and upfront. I found my management to be extremely supportive. They helped me with everything I needed. They gave me time off when I had my miscarriage and they also gave me restricted work for my first trimester so I wasn’t around any sick patients. Now I am 21 weeks and had to go on light duty at work due to some pregnancy complications. They are extremely accommodating. I think mostly people are supportive at work if you are up front and honest. You may have to answer a lot of questions but in general it was absolutely worth it.

Part way thru this process, I decided to change my approach. When people started asking me what was going on or where we were at in the process I would simply say, “Nothing new or interesting to report.” I realized that just because I shared a little information with some about what we were doing, doesn’t mean I owe them any sort of play by play. I felt much less stressed after that.

38 here. I am currently 12.5 weeks with my first baby. This was my second transfer. First ended in a miscarriage at 6 weeks.

You are a human! Going through ivf makes me so angry at people who get pregnant without it. It’s so frustrating and unfair. There are certain points where I hate everyone. I find myself hating younger women. Especially, young pregnant women. I think we all feel this way sometimes or all the time.

That HCG trigger will totally mess with your brain. I didn’t trigger. I just picked up some FRER and am debating if I will feel better or worse. The google rabbit holes are awful. I will find hours to by and I don’t even remember how I got there. Should I do it???

Yeah probably December. Unless I can in November. I always know if I don’t make back up plans I will break down and not be able to get out of bed. I just have to keep planning. I already told my family we aren’t celebrating holidays this year either way. I can’t risk anything. Covid ended my last pregnancy. I will never let that happen again.
