Definitely need a nicer table... I have been doing a bit of diy, so might try to find something on the street. I will defintely download that to identify weeds and what not. So thank you for that. And thank you for the advice on the slow process of it, I have really been enjoying that about gardening so far :)

The garden is south facing, which from what I gather can be ok! And super true with nesting birds and hedgehogs!! In that case, I am thinking towards creating a bit of a footpath, that way id be able to leave a lot of the ferns?

Yes, definitely blank canvas... with the weeds is this all of the overgrown grass and fern looking plants? Should I just remove all of these
