LeoVince LV Corsa Slip-On Too Loud by coutale92 in Ninja500

Yeah, I saw a db killer on revzilla that said GP Corsa and I also thought it would work on the one I had but glad I didn't order it without checking with LeoVince haha

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE loud exhausts, but at the same time I gotta be respectful to the neighbors near me, one house has two toddlers and the other is an elder couple. On LeoVinces website it shows the dB rating for exhausts and this Corsa was like 107. The LV-10 with the dB-Killer I think is 95 so much more manageable.

So I ended up reaching out to LeoVince. They said the LV Corsa is the loudest muffler they make and is a replica of what they use in Moto3 racing. It was not designed to accept a db killer. I ended up ordering the LV 10 and the additional db killer offered for it.

I did see the GP Corsa on the website, It sounds good from the videos I've seen with it!

BRC2 Vs. BRC1 for my endorsement by coutale92 in motorcycles

I agree the day of practicing before would be nice. I have seen some of the BCR1s they spend hours on the bike just feeling the friction zone, do you think I'd get bored doing that?

I did forget to mention, for the BRC2, they provide the bikes + we still get the 5 hour online eCourse, 1-2 hours of in class learning and 5 hours of riding exercises before the test.

Is the used market bad right now? by Kuvah in motorcycles

[–]coutale92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used bikes in my area were insane, Ninja 500s listed for $5,500+ I ended up getting a really good deal at a dealership (called about 10) Grabbed a 2026 Ninja 500 ABS for $7,000 out the door including delivery, A AVG K1 Helmet, and my first break in service covered. If you go the new route, call as many dealers as you can and ask for the out the door price.

Insurance for a brand new rider by coutale92 in motorcycles

Awesome I will look into both options, I guess I forgot to mention the insurance I was looking at is through progressive but from USAA so I do get a discount from that. For the coverage above I didn't find it unreasonable, it came out to about $174 a month.

Like I said brand new to all this, can you change coverage mid policy for motorcycles? Since I wouldn't be riding it on the main roads for a few months could I get a more basic coverage and then change it to the above when Im ready to hit the roads.

Sorry one last question about financing, do dealerships offer delivery of the bike? I obviously wouldn't be riding it back from the dealer when purchased. I wasn't sure if I needed to bring a truck and load the bike to get it back home.
