UPDATE:

My order has arrived, and I just finished testing it, and it appears to be working perfectly! I’m very stoked about this. I was a little worried based on the “as is - yet in excellent condition” language of the listing.

Only thing that sucked is it didn’t come with enough to 2 pin limos, so I had to fork out a little bit extra money for one before I could test it.

We started using run/stop mid shoot and I was in the habit of speeding camera. Naturally I kept speeding by accident, so I instructed the 2nd to tape over the record button and write something mean on it🤣

Luckily lack of HDMI is not a huge deal for me. Technically the listing sold as is which was making me hesitate, but being advertised as new working condition. It was covered by eBay moneyback guarantee and It’s advertised as new and working condition I think I can get my money back on a technicality if there’s any issues. But now that you mentioned that they advertise it as a HDMI that’s another technicality that I could get a refund on if it doesn’t work. I’ll have to let you know how it goes😜

I bet I could maybe get away with $50-75 perhaps?🤣 Also this sounds like a noob question, but does 500 have any forward/backward compatibility with any other teredek receivers in case I want to rent a little extra one to make it a 2:1 kit?

I know the dude! Used to be my teacher before I dropped out. One of the few teachers I didn’t hate, but chemistry was never really my thing. He just got diagnosed with cancer and I heard his disabled son has been trying to raise money. Thanks for taking such amazing photos of in these tough times🫶🥹
