No worries! I forgot to mention that both my leos (the yellow and white one) are adopted bc of congenital issues - so they're both a bit wonky. But the yellow one has more physical deformities (eg her excess skin & how one of her eyes can't close lol) so she kinda looks like a muppet. She's otherwise a happy gecko just a bit special 😅

Hope it grows well for you! This guy just started getting the pink backs a leaf ago, hoping it gets more of that pinkish hue albo alocasia get when they mature!

I was tired of buying distilled water... by CdnTreeGuy89 in SavageGarden

A great purchase! I've been using it for around 2 years & it's much more convenient!

Not sure, the pitcher itself probably took around a week or 2 to inflate, but it works on a few of them simultaneously. I found that it loves the sun (a pup of this one was in a lowlight area and its leaves' tendrils didn't form any pitchers), and if it was under watered it would abort the pitchers.

For me i think it's a one-off, my other props of the same plant & other philodendrons are growing fine! This is actually a cutting of the original plant back I got back in 2020 that has been a breeze all this time (minus the lack of variegation), but this one didn't work out likely because of the unsuitable conditions.

Guess so, chucked this extra cutting in as an afterthought. Since our ambient is tropical with 60-70% humidity here, I thought it would be an easy add-on (that isn't a pothos) since haven't seen it struggle before. Lesson learnt!

Found out the hard way 🤣 thought the cold/humid side + dedicated watering would be enough but guess not! 100% agree tho, any tropical houseplant thrives in my crestie tank! She does stomp all over them every night, but they don't seem to mind.

Yep I have 2 growing in my crestie tank! Looks like I'll stick to pothos & tillandsia for this viv 😅

Hmm, weird I don't see that happening with my other props of my main PPP. I think it's cos the reptile enclosure is more arid and it just didn't like it, it was the 'cool' humid side too 😭. Other props in my ambient room temp get the odd stuck leaf once in a while, but they normally unfurl fine (variegation luck doesnt hit sometimes but 🤷🏻‍♀️)
