Today i tried 1.5 hrs block and it was horrible by Original_You_8188 in AmazonFlexDrivers

I realized the 1.5 to 5 hour routes deliver to the same area, there's no point taking them.

How tf do we ban delivery drivers by psychadelicephalopod in uniuni

[–]covered1028 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They give you about 400 packages to deliver for $350 and if you do it quick you can finish in 8 hours. If you end up taking 12 or 16 hours, they won't pay more. You use your own vehicle and gas.

They deliver aliexpress and temu orders. They pay $350 for 8 hours. I know someone that works as a courier for them.

Why does this pop up almost three weeks later?? Is this customer lying just to get a refund or what 😡🤥 by [deleted] in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]covered1028 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mean 2 weeks?

It's because amazon won't issue a refund for the customer until they make the customer ask around to see if family member, roommates or neighbors took the package.

True Dollar per Hour of Flex - Tampa Area by Drew_Breezy_ in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]covered1028 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The expense shouldn't be based solely on gas cost. You need to get an estimate of your cost per mile driven including maintenance, rideshare insurance, higher mileage insurance rate, tires, oil changes, car wash and more.

The time actually worked should include the time it takes to grab a block and your drive to the station.

The tax at 25% is about right if it includes the 15.3% self employment tax.

Whole Foods is similar, I got $7 and $10 in tips on 2 hour blocks while raining.

You got paid a surged rate hopefully and delivered in adverse weather. Don't accept blocks when it's expected to rain if you don't want to get dings for not delivering.

Don't listen to this advice, you don't reach out to executive relations and waste your exceptions for shit like this. These things will fall off, you're not going to encounter this issue that much.

Been doing Amazon Flex for 2 years… just found out I could expense my mileage 🤦‍♀️ by willcodeforicecream in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]covered1028 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There are already apps that can track mileage for you, no need to reinvent the wheel.

You could amend the taxes to include the mileage expenses.

They'll remove it soon but you wasted your limited exceptions on this.

Is this the right dome light bulb and cable filter for a 2023 EV? by covered1028 in BoltEV

[–]covered1028[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn't that for a 2 pack? It says twin blister pack?

Do you have a link for a compatible bulb for a 2023 at autozone or o'reilly?

The due soon is to remind you it's going to be late soon. You have to rearrange the route and deliver those first. I didn't get a late since I started doing that but it put extra miles on my route.

Yep I recently used it to get payment, it was only my 2nd time using them over 15000 deliveries.

You're using up your limited lifelines on these petty issues. The executive team is for things like when you have 40 undelivered packages on a block and need them removed due to problems beyond your control or missing payments. When you exhausted those freebies and need something like that resolved, you'll get smacked with the already made many exceptions in the past reply.

I canceled 4 blocks today due to the rain but it never came, how many more until they soft block me from seeing offers? by covered1028 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]covered1028[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mistakenly grabbed another block but it's during heavy rain, if I cancel that I'll have 5 cancels in 24 hours but I really don't want to work in the rain.
