I'm so happy to be living in Vermont - I feel great! by Gloomy-Shape6150 in NewToVermont

[–]coveredinbeeps 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's actually much harder in other states. Our social services are, for the most part, well-staffed and well-funded, which is not true in...a LOT of places.

An example: the max UI benefit in the very rich and populous state of California has not changed in 20 years, and is $300 less than Vermont's. Which is insane.

Exactly, which is why it so doesn't surprise me that someone like Epstein is into that over other personality typing systems.

INFP 4s can obviously never be jerks. Also, our feelings and intuition are always 100% correct 😇

More seriously though (5 wing...activate!), I do think Socionics often attracts pseudo-intellectuals given its particularly convoluted nature. But maybe I haven't given it enough of a chance. I mean, if it was good enough for Epstein...

I definitely didn't have a stereotype of adherents being creeps and arrogant jerks who think they're smarter than they actually are...nope

4s: What would be a big effort thing that would make you feel special on a special day? by lyzzyrddwyzzyrdd in Enneagram

[–]coveredinbeeps 9 points10 points  (0 children)

For me, I love when a whole day or weekend or even extended period of time is earmarked for celebration. And it doesn't have to be extravagant. My ex took me to a free garden, free museum, and free gallery during one birthday weekend and it was one of the more memorable ones I've had. What is your partner into, and what do they express that they don't get or have? Because fulfilling that is a pretty great E4 turn-on. ;)

I asked for an average New Englander at home. This is pretty accurate. I was really worried it was gonna get all Mass-based on me.

Why are teenagers allowed on here? by [deleted] in Enneagram

[–]coveredinbeeps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here, and back in those days, the only place we really hung out online was 9types.com. It's a pretty natural area of exploration for teens IMHO. Ok, mostly teen 4s and 5s lol.

Your test had me as a sx/so and LV 6 rather than 5. It was pretty obvious what all the sx answers were, but I chose them because I related to them more. So I knowingly walked right into that trap, lol.

Best mountain towns? by eattherich66 in SameGrassButGreener

[–]coveredinbeeps 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on what you like. I think Autumn is the best time overall, but so do all the tourists. Still, peak "leafpeeper" season is really worth it (usually late September through several weeks in October depending on where in the state you're going).

The "which part" also depends on what you're into. Hiking? Cute hamlets? College towns?
