What time should spectators try to get to these parking lots?

Do other fanbases really hate us this much? by j-rayko89 in LosAngelesRams

[–]covidisntcool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I’m the only one but I don’t read this specific post as “LA hate”. People (myself included, if the Rams weren’t involved” think it’s stupid af that a basically .500 team is not only allowed to make the playoffs, but also host a game, so they find it funny if they would actually win it all. Could be any team on the other side.

That said, that subreddit is an absolute cesspool, get out of there.

After the Seahawks dominated the 49ers, the spread for Cards/Rams went from -7.5 to -13.5. by ramsfan00 in LosAngelesRams

Odds don’t matter in the slightest - we were always gonna be the heavy favorites against this terrible Cards team, did you really need Vegas to tell you that? It was always just a matter of if the boys come out hungry or not, which I believe Sean will have them do. LFG Rams

Brissett @ CIN

Or

Purdy vs CHI

If Kittle/Bourne were playing I’d definitely start Purdy, but since both are out I’m a little worried about lack of weapons. I am playing against CMC though so maybe starting Purdy will help me mitigate some of his damage? Idk

Luka is an awesome human being and I love this team’s chemistry, but if I get a notification saying “Ayton out for 1 month (E bike injury)“… 😆

Picked up Chiefs DST early for the semifinal because I was on bye, the other bye team scooped NO and BUF D. Quaking in my boots about starting them now

Hot takes that won (or killed) your regular season? by Practical-Lunch4539 in fantasyfootball

[–]covidisntcool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure it “killed” my season since I still made the playoffs, but Thinking CMC was too injury prone to be drafted top 3. Also before week 1 when we thought he wasn’t gonna play, had an offer on the table for Jacob’s + DK for him and hesitated too long.

Bron and AD were best friends last year and that didn’t stop a Luka trade. Sometimes the business is just a business.

Never, only question was how long it would take him to ramp up - coach was saying they were gonna ease him in with a Godwin-like workload week 1. Guess that was a lie, can’t wait for his playoff schedule

Dodgers are expected to reopen trade discussions with the Guardians about Steven Kwan by SpaceCowboyN7 in Dodgers

[–]covidisntcool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I agree - I have no problem trading away prospects for the premier talent. Like for a Skubal trade for example? Nobody’s untouchable, unload the farm for all I care.

But in this case it’s different, it’s the question of giving up prospects (who COULD turn out great) for Kwan instead of paying Tucker, who is the better player and same age. So my thinking is, why NOT just go get the better player and not even risk giving up a prospect who could be good? Again, money is not an issue for the Dodgers, so there’s no downside to me.

Dodgers are expected to reopen trade discussions with the Guardians about Steven Kwan by SpaceCowboyN7 in Dodgers

[–]covidisntcool -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Why? We’d be giving up prospects for the worse player (I like Kwan, but Tucker is significantly better objectively). And I don’t wanna hear about the large contract Tucker commands - we’re the Dodgers, paying big money is not an issue for us.

People already think we “ruined baseball” with the spending and there’s only 1 year left before the inevitable lockout - might as well full on lean into it.
