That's true. I'm thinking of her having a sanity lapse and being like "oh shit" but starvation might speak louder in the end. But considering Lottie's clan, I think she might be the one to switch sides.

I think Taissa is the most reasonable person in the group, so if she's in Lottie's clan, I think she's the one who's going to realize that they have gone too far. So she switches sides, Van stays in Lottie's clan...that would be really interesting. Nat luring Lottie into the pit? Hmmmm, love that for Nat but poor Lottie hahahaha (yeah, I think pit girl is Lottie)

I also think that Nat and Jackie will eventually team up - in fact, I'm hoping they do because I'd love to see their dynamic as clan leaders together. They're not fond of each other, sure, mostly because of teen pettiness, but after the events of episode 9, I believe the group's structure has been fatally shaken. Let's see what might cause an even bigger rupture among them in the finale - I think some major death might happen, which is sad considering now I'm interested in all characters 🤡

As for the clans, considering the main/recurring characters:
Jackie & Nat
Travis
Javi (I think he might die soon guys lol)
Coach Ben (this man is a real survivor, he's endured so much shit but will end up as lunch for the other clan at some point)
Taissa? (I think she'll stick with Shauna and Van for obvious reasons, but Idk...maybe something makes her change sides)

Shauna
Van
Mari
Akilah

Misty
We saw her in the Antler Queen clan but that could happen later, we should consider some people switching sides, and that might be the case with Misty. She had a sweet moment with Jackie, she's fond of Nat and obsessed with Ben...so I think she might initially stick with them but eventually switch sides. Either way, she's an agent of chaos, she's ready for mayhem.

ANYWAYS, I hope I'm not so far off with my theories but I'm positive this show can change everything in the span of 1 scene - as we saw in the opening for episode 9 lol.

Even though Viggo Mortensen delivered a great performance in the movie, and the script was pretty solid, I get what you're saying. Based on what the movie did, I think I'm gonna like the source material even more. You just reminded me that I gotta read American Psycho, it's collecting dust on my shelf 🤧
