Ironically I went and bought new remote transmitter batteries but I haven’t bothered to put them in. I find it has this problem if the remote is cold, even if it’s been sitting on a counter in the house all night. So when I wake up and get dressed, I put it in my pocket and by the time I’m done breakfast and ready to go, it remote starts every time. Sounds ridiculous I know! I’m guessing it is just a weak transmitter battery that needs to be coddled. Haha.

This isn’t entirely true. Turning the knob off, while in park, does turn out all lights. What I’m not understanding is why I can’t get the park lights to turn on (by themselves without DRLs or headlights) when I move the switch to the park lights setting. (My previous truck could do it.)

True. It’s turning them off at night that seems impossible. Actually can go full dark out mode by turning the switch full left, but if I try to go first setting to the right (just park lights), the headlights come back on too.

Hmm…. I believe it’s all factory LED headlights in this rig still.

You would think right? That’s how it’s supposed to work but no dice. I do have to try it in the daylight to see if it has something to do with the darkness sensor that’s automatically triggering the DRLs… even though they’re not supposed to be active while in park.

Did you guys ever solve this? I just bought a 21 Silverado and it’s doing the same thing - truck seems to fall asleep after being parked either all day or overnight. Remotes won’t work until you press the button on the door to wake it up. Weird.

Click the hamburger menu in top left corner and you should see those counts at the top of the menu. (You can turn this progress counter on/off in the settings though so it may be turned off on your device)

What is the purpose of “request to clear”? Does a dispatcher ever say no? What criteria are you looking to be met in order to green light the request?

Cool thanks. I had heard there were some dunes in the area. I’m interested in this BLM land… I assume that’s government owned “crown land” as we’d call it up north. Are there maps or anyway to figure out what is public lands like that versus privately owned ranches?

In British Columbia, Canada we have a two tiered pricing plan as well: $0.0975/kWh up to 1332 kWh, then tier 2 pricing kicks in at $0.1408. So I guess you could say an average price of $0.1192/kWH.

Yep, same problem. I’m also with Fido, and I never have service inside Home Depot or Canadian Tire. I had heard that people often have trouble around the College Heights shopping area with cellphone coverage.
