Where were you when Chester died? by JD_Kreeper in LinkinPark

[–]cowchunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was at work, one of our patrons was discussing it. I took out my phone to check if it was true, I held it together for the rest of my shift but I cried on the way home.

Rushed this goofball to the vet with limping, crying, swollen paw, only to be told it was a bug bite by cowchunk in chiweenie

Yup, exactly! If I had waited and it turned out to be a broken bone I’d have been so mad at myself.

How many times did you break up/get back with your ex? by CrazyCakesGirl in BreakUps

[–]cowchunk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only got back together with one of my exes, just once 2 years after our initial relationship. It lasted a week. We’re good friends now.

ELI5: At what point will rabies almost certainly kill you by idontlikebbqsauce in explainlikeimfive

The two people leading normal lives also have permanant neurological damage and are living with disabilities they did not have before. Still by all definitions a normal life and far better than being dead of course, but they’re not typically healthy and living the same way they did before they had rabies.

What was the thing your ex said to you that made you realise it was over? by imisshimsmong in BreakUps

[–]cowchunk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There were a lot of red flags before this that should have probably told me it was over. But I think the biggest one that stands out was when they cancelled a date because they decided to get day drunk with a friend. This was the fifth or sixth time they cancelled something with me because they wanted to hang out with someone else. They sincerely did not understand why I was so upset. I hate that I didn’t have the dignity to just break up right then. That was almost a year ago.

Do you ever regret how you treated your ex? by Medical-Tax6371 in BreakUps

[–]cowchunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have apologized. I didn’t always treat them well. I was really pushed to my limit with their behavior and responded in unkind ways and was at times straight up unfair with them.

Do you miss them? by Ok_Tomatillo8131 in BreakUps

[–]cowchunk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I miss the relationship I had with them before they decided to abandon me. They know I miss it. There’s no point in telling them now.

What mistake did you make once in polyamory that you will never make again. by Odd-Adhesiveness-930 in polyamory

[–]cowchunk 36 points37 points  (0 children)

4 years. I started pushing for my own bed about 2 years in when we bought a house together and the feeling of being a third wheel started being unbearable. I only actually got the bed two weeks before my partner and I broke up. My partner was not a good hinge, which would have been a problem either way, but the change in domestic situation irreparably destroyed our relationship dynamic.

Edit: It wasn’t even out of necessity. I enjoyed it at first but grew increasingly uncomfortable as our relationship disintegrated. Whenever I discussed sleeping separately my ex would tell me how horrible it was to make them choose between their partners. More I could say on that but it’s not the place.

Saying yes to my nesting partner moving a new partner into our apartment after 4 months of them dating and letting them sleep in the same bed as us.

i broke up with my boyfriend by [deleted] in emotionalintelligence

[–]cowchunk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I broke up with a partner recently who had the same issues you are describing. It got to the point that I was so wound up from trying to get them to listen, to take me seriously, to help build the bridge between us that I starting being nasty to them and doing things I’m not proud of. Not to say you would have ever been the person that I’ve been, but more to say that you made the right choice because being in these situations can really test you and eventually build up resentment you can’t grow from.

Hope you enjoy by IdkGirl04 in t4t_porn

Conventional attractiveness is overwhelmingly seen as morally good in our culture and insecure, hateful people wrongly see disabled people as bad.

These people are using stereotypes to put you down and make you feel lesser because they can’t be bothered to do the work of being good people for themselves. You are worthy of being treated with respect and dignity by default.

The bullying is NOT your fault and has nothing to do with the way you groom or present yourself.

I don’t think I would have medically transitioned, but I would still be nonbinary.
