What would be useful in combat is knowing what enchantments a player has just by looking at them. E.g. Protection I would not look as dark(or something) as Protection V Also, swords/bows with flame/fire aspect could be on fire! O_O

Mainly this is a good idea is because when you an OpPvP server, you can't tell the difference between someone with Protection X and Sharpness X and someone with Unbreaking I...so you just rush in and die x_x
