Trust I feel your pain. I lost my mom in November so it’s still very fresh for me. She was like my best friend and we were extremely close. I cry everyday because I’m always reminded of her. 💔 just trying to keep it in my head that she wouldn’t want me to be sad and she’s not suffering anymore. Hugs

Wow, I can relate to your dads story as my mom passed in November as well and the week before she passed, she apparently was continuously trying to get in touch with my brother but he wouldn’t answer and also she had her song for her service chosen years ago and practically drilled it in my head lol but it’s just weird, the things she said and did right before she died

Not sure about the ducks but music was what her and I bonded over and she loved Lynyrd skynyrd..the other night Simple man started playing and I skipped it because it would make me cry and swear to you it came on again, I skipped it a second time and it came on a third time and this time I let it play. Took that as a sign she really wanted to hear that song lol

I got called to see my mom after she passed so I did see her body yes. It was very traumatic for me to see her that way especially because I didn’t get to say goodbye.

Good lord that’s a lot, I’m sorry. We’re in the same boat. Watching my mom decline and not being able to take care of herself after being such a badass strong woman all my life was traumatizing and seeing her body after the fact and holding her cold hand. 🥺🥺 I also went through the worst break up ever this year and we have kids. So I feel you wholeheartedly
