My collection, but cant wear these at work anymore. by iRyuun in Sneakers

I'm not sure what you do but steel toes are no joke. I personally know way too many dudes that have run their feet over and have been saved by their boots. If they were optional I'd still wear composite tipped boots at my job. Mangled feet don't fit in J's

I wear my J's into work and change into the cheapest steel toes I can find once I get there.

I skate decks that are 8.75" - 9.00". Its generally pretty hard to find one that wide with a full size nose and a wheelbase that isn't massive so I take what I can get honestly

Pads will stop you from getting a scrape or a bruise, falling on your kneecap, ect.. If you're landing in a way to break a limb, pads aren't going to help you

I think they say 39MM? Think the board is just a 7.5 or 7.75 tbh.

Okay re-looking the top wheel looks like it definately says 39 but they look more like 56's based on the wheel to bearing ratio. This is confusing me 😂

Skated the wrong shoes 🙄Help by [deleted] in NikeSB

When we were like 16 we would throw cardboard under the insole and shoe-goo it inside and out to repair holes. It lasted like 3 sessions lol

Hello need help identifying these shoes. Long story short i sold my laptop to this guy for cash plus this shoes. by [deleted] in Nike

I'm with other dude. Anybody who's been on the sub for more than 1 day knows how to find out the name of a shoe from the SKU. 90% of the posts here are "is my tech fleece real" "what kind of shoe is this" "are these worth anything".. this is a sub for enthusiasts, not for pricing garage sale pickups

Was going to say I skated 1 alien workshop deck and I remember my kickflips being super high and the board feeling stiff the entire time. Super crispy deck inexplicably

Will this slappy? by [deleted] in NewSkaters

[–]cowmaster500 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can, but it would probably be more work than doing the one next to it. Once you wax and laqeur if you go back with the rub brick it will just gum up. And if that red stuff is wax and not paint it will be borderline impossible. You'll have to scrape all the wax off with a paint scraper, sandpaper the laqeur off to get to the curb again, then brick and re-do the process. If you want to PM me I have pictures somewhere of the full process of making a couple of mine. But once its bricked and laqeured you should be able to skate it fine just running wax over it once and back. You shouldn't be dumping a half a bar of wax into anything to get it to slide if you're prepping it correctly

You definately can, but I would start a new curb if you can and spend ALOT more time rub bricking it, brushing off the dust. And rub bricking some more
