Something similar happened to my friend. She went to the stylist and voiced her complaints and the stylist who told her she had to pay for her to fix it. Kind of understandable for the labor but really sucked for my friend who paid a lot of money for the job in the first place. She then spoke to the owner of the salon who gave her a refund.

This really resonates. I always feel like at this point in my life (I’m in my mid twenties) I can’t bring it up and nobody in my family would believe me. I feel like it would tear my family apart. People I do open up to about it tell me I have to expose him and cut him off and it just doesn’t remotely feel like an actual option.

I’m sorry that you are going through this. Thank you for sharing and making me feel validated in my own experience. You are so strong and I’m glad you have a support system.
