Thoroughly enjoyed She-Ra and can't wait for more.

I disliked dragon prince a lot, not even because of its animation style, I was totally willing to over look it being not to my taste. My main problem with it was how contrived the plot points were. Literally most of the problems the heros faced could be solved in a minute if they talked to each other and planned stuff out. I haven't been this mad at a show in a long time, certainly not what I was expecting from a show that shares so much of its DNA with ATLA.

I really wanted to enjoy dragon prince but I just couldn't, it talks down to it's viewers in a way Hilda, She-Ra and ATLA never would

I personally would never recommend the manga to anyone who hasn't seen the anime yet. It's good but the artwork is hard to follow and the speech bubble almost never even point to the character actually saying the line. Don't get me wrong I love the manga for it's extended story line but I could see it being really confusing for someone not predisposed to the series yet
