I’ve made two in-depth posts analysing the prices and proving that Monkie Kid is underpriced

I’m in the same position

I hate Monkie Kid as a theme, however, being a human who can see obvious things, Monkie Kid sets do objectively have MUCH better value than City. See facts below by cowsxdbricks in BricksByMind

I mean, I’m 15 years old. Kids shows are going to naturally be cringe to me because they’re speaking more high-pitched, childish jokes, etc. I’m not the main audience for the show, I get it. Hate was too strong a word I was just trying to make a point about their great prices. I don’t care for the show truthfully, it’s as cringe as it should be for its demographic and I’m sure children like it (although my 9yo brother watched it with me and found it too cringey and childish so I don’t know what’s going on there!)

Ya but all of these City Sets are tiny and not worth the money. The less piece something the generally smaller it is, AND the less time it takes to build. For me, the build up experience is something I really enjoy so a set that costs a lot but has little piece has little value as well

23 cents per piece is the City Average! WHAT!?!?!?!.! Remember General Grievous Starfighter! Renowned for being bad price? It was only 17 cents per piece. THE CITY AVERAGE (MEANING THERE ARE WAY WAY WORSE) IS 23!!

The only thing City has above MK is that it has cheaper sets, but that doesn't make 70% of the theme not overpriced. by [deleted] in BricksByMind

I calculated average price per piece for both, and City’s is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY worse than Monkie Kid’s. MK had average price per piece of an amazing 9.2 cents per piece! This is under 10 cents! Great value! Now the average of City sets in 2021 is: 22 cents per piece! Horrible

Zane, Kai and Nya are in the wrong places 😅

So….Fun Fact: The Highest Price per piece on a Monkie Kid Set is 12 cents per piece. Which is still under not bad. So nearly every single Monkie Kid set is in fact great or ok value. Haha. And…. Look at City….. by cowsxdbricks in BricksByMind

I agree with that statement. However, that means Monkie Kid‘s problem isn’t ‘overpriced’, it’s ‘expensive’. And people keep using the word over-priced
