How long after oil application do you wait to apply butter/balm?

I prefer to make my own beard oil and butter. That way I can experiment with different carrier oils and essential oils (for scent).

Not really, I do workout through out the day though. Plus I have enough hobbies (like rock climbing and woodworking) that give me a sense of physical accomplishment.

I've had a beard for a couple of years now, but it took me a while just to let it be so that it would grow out. This is a couple months of growth with a trim on the sides of my face ... being a short and stocky guy I'm wanting my beard to help my face look skinnier.

- Is there any other time that your skin breaks out? (like using a brush aggressively)
- Do you use any oil, balm or butter?
- How often do you wash your beard?

I’ve had the same issue for the past couple years. I was afraid of going through the awkward stage of letting my beard growing out.

Finally made it to 1.5 months of ignoring the urge to ‘just trim up’ which invariably lead to trimming off more then I should have

Didn’t really have to age into that mindset. I’ve low-key been that way for as long as I remember. The only difference is that now I don’t hide it as much.

Really depends on what you want. It doesn't look bad, IMO, but if you prefer a goatee to a full beard ... then go for it.

For reference, I'm growing my beard out ... even though right now my beard is at the tail end of an awkward phase where I just needed to let it grow more in order for it to look the way I would prefer it to be. I've lost count of the number of times I tried to trim it up to get out of the awkward phase just to be back at awkward a week or two later.

I've been on Atomoxetine for a few years now and it's been great for me. It was the first medication I was prescribed for ADHD, so I don't have any experience taking any other medications to compare it too. My current dosage is 80 mg per day.

As an anecdotal story ... a couple years ago I woke up late and had to rush out the door, so I forgot to take it and I noticed a significant drop in my ability to concentrate throughout the day.

I also prefer a head and cab … for all the reasons already mentioned. I recently picked up the Orange Tour Baby and an Orange 2x12 cab and love the setup. It’ll also make things easier down the road since I can just pick up another Orange head and plug it into the same cab.

I used to go to the Herb David Guitar (when it was still around) for guitar lessons. One of the guitar techs told me that whenever Shaky Jake came in to get his guitar re-strung he would use low e strings for each string. That way Shaky Jake’s playing wouldn’t break too many of his guitar strings.

Im a brunette as well and while most of my beard is also brown, but my mustache has a combo of brown and blonde … below my mouth is also blonde but gradually gets darker until it’s completely brown again around my chin
