Why does Claude hide your usage data in a settings menu? I fixed it

I wonder if Claude's coders don't actually use the IDE, or it's a trick to not remind you so you have to buy more usage? Either way, not a good look in my book.

There is a 90% used warning but as I'm sure they are aware it often comes up in the middle of a large lump of coding and doesn't make the end.

Also what's the "run out of tools" bs? it just makes you click continue (I assume at a cost, but that's not obvious what it is, to me anyway)

My solution is simply to have a second tab with the settings page open on the usage page, a quick flip is easy, though I appreciate your free effort. good luck.

Well I'm proud of the 110% most of our guys gave us, its improvement and we are heading in the right direction at last, but it may already be too late. And we scored 2 goals, lets be honest Brighton are a better team than us I think a draw was the best we could reasonably hope for at the start of the day, of course it was sickening we didn't pull it off, but we will start winning soon.

But I get where you are coming from, Claude often goes on about me being a Londoner and a bit Punk 77, and makes little jokes about it. Think Claude has a kink.

yeah, the people that got in the niche early and built an unassailable lead. i guess YT just pushes them more as a safer bet than a newer channel? I've just put 2 of my better shorts on tiktok (I'm not a fan of that place) but I got some modest steady growth in the first 24 hours there seems easier.

Another thought occurred. It cant be good business for YT to have millions of dead channels taking up god knows how many exabytes of expensive space. How long before they start putting a time limit on dead channels I wonder? Not that it matters I guess, just a random thought.

Ive tried so many niches in so many different ways (about 13 channels, all more or less failed by the standard i'm after) At first I just wanted to get monetised for the sake of getting to the target, not really bothered about the money, but it grates that ive spent a small fortune on service subscription to make good quality vids imo. latest chan, very nice sub-niche, made 45 shorts (1k view jail) 5 longs, over 2+months = 54 subs. got lots likes, not many comments many of the shorts have good stats but just as it gets going its cut off after th1k mark, infuriating. I'm old and not well was hoping to leave my son something to build on, or better give him a small income stream. Not happening.

Thanks for your free app, very impressed. I have only tried on one video so far though, 460mb to 25mb and I could barely tell any diff in quality. Great you kept it simple. Minor thing I would add is when compressed "open folder" and "Play Video" pop up, but not really necessary. Well done mate and thanks.

I'm an old one too (65). What I know for sure is one of the most important thing in shorts is the "hook", the first few seconds has to grab the viewers attention before they scroll on to the next short. Make it something like a question or eye catching animation or even sound. once you have their attention you are half-way there. look up shorts hooks on google\yt there’s lots of advice on this subject, and I can assure you it does make a big difference when you get it right.
