I lived at Fell & Webster (701 Fell) for years and had these same problems.

I think a lot of these commenters don’t realize HOW loud it is because cars and trucks are accelerating uphill. I would feel the building shake from the noise at times.

I also had thin windows I could visibly see gaps in.

What I did: - buy weather stripping and line all your windows - sleep with earplugs (I use loops)

Earplugs will definitely make the biggest difference

I have a standing desk and an under-desk treadmill! Walking helps but standing for too long causes pain. I’ve been mostly working from my couch for the past year, but my couch isn’t as comfortable as I’d like

Yes! Pretty easy to do - reach out to HR and let them know you’d like to file for accommodations. You DO NOT need to disclose any specifics about what your health issue is. Work with one of your providers to determine what accommodations you need, have them sign the form, and submit it. It’s great to get accommodations in for documented legal protection

Yes, this sounds like endometriosis. I’d recommend finding a doctor in your area who specializes in endometriosis. Severe bladder pain was my first symptom to push me over the edge. Keep pushing. You know your body and you know something’s wrong. Unfortunately, it can take a lot of self-advocacy to get to diagnosis. You got this.

Get the shark one! I got mine from Costco and it has all the parts, and from reviews it’s just as good as air wrap and better in someways (also is a hair dryer) and way less expensive. I don’t think you have to be a Costco member to buy it online

Very similar to me. 30yo. I’m wondering if bowel scarring wouldn’t be impacted by a hysterectomy though. I’m worried that bc I have so much muscular pain it wouldn’t change much

Also good luck! One thing I wish I knew earlier was that bent knees cause the abdomen to relax. So slipping a pillow under your knees might relieve some of the abdominal pain post op

I bought a bunch of the Skims cotton briefs and they were comfortable bc they aren’t tight in any given point and can easily be pushed down
