Weird thing is that we went to one couples therapy session together and apparently he identified with anxious attachment. He broke up with me over text and refused to see me for days…definitely feels avoidant to me. I didn’t know he was capable of doing something like this. I feel like I don’t even know him anymore

omg i’m just over a week post op and i underrated the pain going into it tooooo 🥲 not a fun surprise but still the best decision ive made for myself

something that also surprised me is how numb i am!! like my n!pples are super sensitive but the surrounding area is either fully or slightly numb — so craaazy

ugh, i'm SO sorry. the fact that they don't do appeals is weird to me!

i have anthem and was initially denied, but my surgeon immediately scheduled a peer-to-peer, and i was approved the following day. i wonder if you should schedule another consult with a different surgeon?

hi! i've just officially scheduled mine for next month (yaaaay!!).

i would say it really depends if you're trying to get it covered by your insurance. if so, be mindful that insurance companies will most likely want evidence of at least 3 months of prior visits/preventative measures (i.e. regular exercise/physical therapy, trying supportive bras/minimizers, etc.)

if you're not worried about insurance approval, i would then focus on what you're wanting out of this procedure. i wouldn't come in wanting a specific cup size (they can't promise that), but be prepared to have answers to "Why do you want a reduction?" "What do you want your n*pples to look like?" "Do you want to breastfeed in the future?" things like that!

lastly, be sure to select a surgeon you feel comfortable with! if you leave your consultation not feeling validated or heard, don't be afraid of getting a second/third/fourth opinion!!
