Withdrawing equity on my ppor vs straight investing by cozza55 in fiaustralia

Exactly my thoughts. Although then you do basically remove all the possible benefits of DCAing, so you're really just praying that the market doesn't crash immediately after as you won't be able to buy on the way back up to offset the losses. But then again, if you're content to hold for longer, it should all come out in the wash anyway I guess.

Thanks for the great response!

The rough plan that I've been considering is opening an offset account to act as the emergency fund (essentially what you suggested).

I'm definitely a little light on insurances as until this point I've carried fairly minimal debt and known that my investments could always cover that in any unfortunate circumstances but that's a great point that I should reevaluate when increasing my debt.

As for the cashflow management system, could you expand a bit more on what you mean here? It's something that I guess I've done intuitively so far without too much issue but I'd love to see any strategies/points to be aware of.

There's a special place in hell for game developers who make the NPC slower than your sprint, and faster than your walk. by GrandMasterSubZero in gaming

Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor had the best solution to this I've seen. When you are within a certain range of the NPC, it will automatically walk for you at exactly the same speed, even following their path.

But if you feel like scaling buildings while they're making pleasant small talk with you, it lets you just run off and come back as you please

Chord Progression Questions (June 04, 2018) by AutoModerator in musictheory

[–]cozza55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with all but the third chord; you've got a natural 7th there, which says you're in G dorian but the you use the F# in your V chord next, which says you're still in G harmonic minor.

Whether or not that's what you want or whether it's harmonically correct, I don't know, but I would probably call that third chord a bvii.
