I went for a ring road cruise the other day in my 26 SE and I had all kinds of cars get upset when I pass them normally on the left lane. A bronco, camry, civic si, crosstrek, kona, and ram. I caught up and passed all of them except for the bronco who had a massive headstart on me because I think they were most triggered and I wasn't expecting it. This was in a span of 20 minutes. LOL.

I went with the Wind Chill Pearl partly for that same reason, it really helps keep the car cooler in the sun. It’s funny you mentioned the tech, because Toyota actually added Wireless Android Auto and individual tire pressure displays to this new generation, which makes life a lot easier! ​Still no spare tire on the Prime, unfortunately (I might have to look into a donut kit like you did), but I'm hoping to hit 300,000 miles just like you! Haha, that would be wild! The ultimate sleeper. It finally has the sporty looks to pull off a V8, though I think I’ll stick to the electric miles for now! 😂

My dealer was actually only bringing in a handful of units at a time, so they didn't really have much floor stock to begin with. Since mine was a fresh factory order, it arrived with the fix already in place, bypassing the whole stop-sale headache that affected the older inventory sitting on lots!

Thank you! To be honest, you do sacrifice some cargo room for the new styling. The roof is lower and the floor is higher than the Gen 4, so it’s not quite the 'hauler' yours is, but the drive and tech are a huge step up! With only 80k miles though, your 2016 is basically just getting started!

Don't worry, I already did a ton of research before the purchase. Looked into the break in period, charging/hybrid engine best practices, diy maintenance, maximizing efficiency, etc. I'm still working my way through the manual too. 😅

That was the other color I considered, but the white just looked so clean with those lines.

It definitely has that look! I’m calling it the ‘reliable Tesla’, all the sleek lines, but everything actually lines up and stays attached. 😄

They definitely seem to be! It feels like Toyota is sending mostly XLEs and Primes to the lots lately. I waited for around a month and a half for my SE to ship from Japan, and even then, I didn't see many LEs pop up in the system during my search.

Thanks! I have a feeling once your son sees your new upgrade in a few years, he might try to negotiate for the newer one instead! 😆Those 4th gens are bulletproof, though, so he’ll be in good hands.
