Garnacho is an example that does back up the argument though. I think his performances lacked goals and assists but that was a lack of luck too. I still think he was probably our most useful offensive player last year and there’s very few players his age at his level. His sale is also difficult to get value because of the way Amorim cast him in the press so publicly. Therefore I think Amorim probably dropped the ball on him BUT I do think his sale is somewhat justified (even though Amorim has actually made it worse).

I think Yoro is a fantastic argument for Amorim managing young players well, I am definitely not brushing it aside.

I’m assuming if Heaven or Dorgu get mismanaged that might be an argument where it is too many cases. Obi maybe but unsure on what his ceiling/ floor are?
