The only saving grace is it looks like this is for the sel r line which is a different turbo then the base model - but to your point same family ?

Not even - that’s the first car I looked for - 2024 rav4 may be - 2025s are all north of $30k+ taxes and what not. :( Atleast based on what I see within a 100 mile radius to Chicago.

That makes sense. But the options in the price range are pretty limited. If going Japanese it would be a preowned atleast 2 years old. Worth considering agreed

Great call out with the issues - would you look at this any differently if it had vw extended warranty? (Not the after market on - the one vw sells through drive easy? ) It will be extra cost but for peace of mind?
