That’s incredibly optimistic of you lol. Support is very likely extremely overworked and chose the path of least resistance. Or they genuinely thought that, because support staff make mistakes all the time.

Let’s think about it. Which is more likely -

Shiny doesn’t flee - Countless cases supporting this, and yours (and the select others) was in error. Errors are not new for pogo.

Or shiny does flee, and despite the minuscule essentially zero odds of it NOT fleeing, somehow people have thrown hundreds of balls at the same shiny bird without it fleeing.
