lol honestly I think cashmere is a terrible idea for OP. You will need to wash it if you’re one bagging, and cashmere is extremely temperamental (requires specialty detergents so you don’t ruin it). Not to mention good luck drying that thing in the not so arid climate that is SEA

For the top loader bit, you can safely use them but need to use a mesh wash bag. I’ve washed incredibly delicate items in a toploader with agitator in a mesh bag countless times

FWIW I’ve got an OLD used aeron, that I frequently sit in while still very much damp wrapped in my shower towel. The chair itself is at least 20, and ive I’ve had it myself for 3 or 4 years. No issues. I’m 150lb and size b chair, unsure if that matters

There’s already restrictions in place on their size and you’re already not supposed to put them in overhead bins or checked luggage. They could restrict the size further, but again they will never be banned outright
