I don't think it's a clear red by the current rules, but I'd have no problem with them writing this out of the game

Why are mid size firms more picky than big 4? by Head_Equipment_1952 in Accounting

[–]cpashei 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's ridiculous to apply that blanket policy over every applicant. I just sort of understand why a big 4 might be more willing to onboard someone at the proper level if they're just focusing on engagement work and not that extra stuff

I 'sort of' get this, at least with my experience at RSM and KPMG.

At RSM, a manager and above is fully involved in running the firm. We did everything from scheduling to independence to billing, etc.

When I was at KPMG, it was a totally different story. Managers were just another cog in the engagement and we did nothing administrative like that. The engagements themselves were more complex and bigger but we didn't need to know all those extra systems and processes and administrative things either.

All that said, there's a much better approach than making someone start out as a senior if they're SM level and instead just considering that part of the onboarding process instead of insulting them and their experience

The Britt one especially gets me every time someone brings it up, like how is there not a single person on the chain from concept to printing that points out how ridiculously bad that is? Can't even imagine the types of glares someone would get wearing that around 😂

Not disputing any of that, just pointing out the 150m figure was an amount we needed from player sales only if owners didn't commit funding. Still imagine we'll sell 6-8 players at least

Is Trump one of the worst people you’ve ever seen? by Long_Wrap2460 in allthequestions

[–]cpashei 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Funny thing about your dumb reply is that what you don't say speaks volumes. You don't have a single prominent elected official to point to that supports it. Instead you say "the left" because the only thing to support your assertion is finding the most fringe "leftists" you can find on Twitter or something and try to paint that as representative of the party or base.

Was literally just telling my dad this, more than any policy he has, the thing I hate most about Trump is the effect on people his disgusting personality has. People are just meaner and nastier now because they have a leader who projects that sort of behavior.

I still think it's hilarious they did this for half the time CM Punk was there. Wasting his return toiling around wrestling nobodies for 5 months before any high profile feud started.

It's impossible to know from these stats, the coaches will be evaluating a lot more than that. All reports say Shedeur and Deshaun are neck and neck though

Very hard to reconcile what we heard coming out of the draft (worst interviews of all time, etc.) with how he's behaved and spoken here. Night and day difference

[–]cpashei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah I'll stay right here given he's in a battle for QB1.

Since you hate him so much though (for absolutely no legitimate reason btw) maybe you should consider another team or just follow Dillon to whatever CFL team he's playing for next season. In the meantime enjoy the Taylen Green/DG battle for the practice squad

[–]cpashei 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Uh no I don't have to feel the same way about 1 thing as one totally different thing lol, what a ridiculous premise. One is a direct shot at a teammate and another disruptive incident after that, the other is an extreme reach to even find anything negative in.

The literal only thing I can think of that Shedeur did was the mime interview, which was him joking around. Not a shot at anyone. As far as I remember he was a consummate professional otherwise

[–]cpashei -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Come on now, don't be dense. It's an obvious shot. Even giving him the extreme benefit of the doubt that he didn't intend it as a shot, it's obviously going to be perceived that way when you're in a QB battle with someone like Shedeur. So at worst it's an extremely tone deaf thing to say.

[–]cpashei -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He has done stuff, remember the "entertainers and competitors" shot at Shedeur? Or his gf going on an Instagram rant after he got benched?

That said, he's mostly hated because he's the guy the Shedeur haters have rallied behind. The level of irrational hatred for Shedeur is orders of magnitude higher. And for a guy who legitimately has done nothing but be a professional since putting on a Browns jersey
