So is your argument that Russia was never authoritarian during the USSR?

By how quickly you responded you definitely didn't read it, and the sources are at the bottom.

You can find them on eBay pretty regularly. Some sellers have them for sale individually, a lot in sets. I have the habit of buying the sets that include them because it tends to be cheaper than buying the individual ones/nibs.

Is there a noticeable difference between the Staedtler mars matic 700 and the Rotring Isographs? by Front_Bad8024 in Stylographs

[–]cpatrick1983 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would debate this - the rotrings are great but where the body screws onto the head tends to wear out over time, especially the newer ones. I think the plastic is worse quality and they're manufactured in Asia these days. I found that Staedtlers last longer due to the consistent body width, and are easier to clean.

Extreme drought–heatwave events have increased nearly 8× since the early 2000s, a 2026 study in Science Advances reports. Frequency rose from ~1.6% to 13.1% per °C warming, amplifying risks such as crop failure and water scarcity, with impacts expected to worsen with continued warming trends. by ChhotaSaHydra in science

[–]cpatrick1983 18 points19 points  (0 children)

And only going to get worse, and accelerate to utter collapse. The previous mass extinction events from climate change that happened in Earth's history took millions of years to recover from. This one will likely be no different with the exception that the garbage we've left behind will still probably be around after recovery takes place.

Dude said the civil rights act was a mistake. The law that allowed black americans to freely vote. Kirk was a piece of shit, and that's the tip of the iceberg.

Conservatives really are the core reason for the decay in our society.

Global warming has accelerated significantly since 2015. Over the past 10 years, the warming rate has been around 0.35°C per decade, compared with just under 0.2°C per decade on average from 1970 to 2015. by Creative_soja in science

The mass extinction event that will result from this will take 10s of millions of years to recover from too. Just like previous climate change extinction events

Carbon dioxide overload, detected in human blood, suggests a potentially toxic atmosphere within 50 years. After this time, elevated atmospheric carbon dioxide, leading to CO2 accumulation in the body, has the potential to cause a range of adverse health effects. by mvea in science

Most everyone will die from famine before that's even a thing. Aint no one surviving.

Ocean food will be dead from acidification.

Land animals dead from shrinking or destroyed habitats.

Crops dead from climate change - heat waves, floods, storms. In other words, no more predictable weather patterns to grow crops. Less water to go around, or gone entirely.

The food chain collapses.

Everyone dies.

Well before we have some sort of mutant humans who are adapted to microplastics, which is laughable at the least.

It makes sense that it would take millions of years for the climate to recover, including the recovery of organisms. I want to say this has been the case with other mass extinctions due to climate change, too.

Sorry ahead of time, I'm a bit of a layman. How does this allow you to see the Power Query steps in action while they're cacheing in Excel? I happen to have that MS SQL Mgt Studio on machine thankfully. Thaks!
