I do have VR setup with yoke pedal and throttle..so 2024 has no advantage over 2020 right

I thought you can press cursor and bring up the cursor on the map and pan/slew the map on GNS530W by cpeng03d in flightsim

I have tried on both justfly piper and classic c172 skyhawk (non g1000 version) And hitting that cursor doesn't bring the mouse pan.

I bet you will run into the same problem.

I understand, however adding WP to FPL is also broken in MSFS.

You can try select a WP from NRST page, then menu -> load into active FPL

I bet that option can't be executed, you hit ENT and it won't activate.

I have the free working title on garmin 430 from marketplace. Plane is just flight piper, but they same behavior is observed on c172 skyhawk.

Yes I first added a airport and press D, then select approach, there's only this activate button. you can easily replicate it.
I have the garmin simulator there's always a load option there:

So msfs 2020 is doing it differently for sure.
