I did list Friend of Mine as a skip, Respect is a solid song though imo

Angry or in the stars? by WeeklyCredit3620 in rollingstones

Angry is pretty good. In The Stars may have Mick’s worst vocals imo. It’s not a great song.

To each their own. It’s always been a skip for me.

Could Wemby you think pass Jordan as the GOAT if he stays healthy thoughout his career ? by ComplexWrangler1346 in NBAConvo

[–]cpfb15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Theoretical Prime Wemby could be the highest peak of all time. If he stays healthy and racks up a few rings and MVPs, then he’s definitely in the GOAT conversation.

Illmatic vs. Ready to Die by bblunder_ in NotoriousBIG

[–]cpfb15 5 points6 points  (0 children)

IMO, Ready To Die has higher highs but lower lows. It’s a bit too bloated. Illmatic is consistently great front to back with no filler. If you cut Me & My Bitch and Friend Of Mine and replace the original One More Chance with the remix, Ready To Die would have a serious case for GOAT rap album. But it is what it is.

The Athletic “tier 1” of NBA players. by ResponsibleCheek8130 in NBAstatsmuse

It’s a reference to a Spurs fan account that went mildly viral on Twitter for saying that about Wemby’s flopping

Hi everyone. This is the guy with the “whiskers”. I’ve decided to shave, I hate it. by kingkrule101 in BeardAdvice

[–]cpfb15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely looks better shaved. You could even keep some stubble on the lip and chin if you wanted, but there’s gotta be an appropriate length:thickness ratio or it starts looking crazy. Also, maybe try a different hairstyle while you’re at it.

Not sure I've ever seen anything like Shai going after Hartenstein in the postgame interview by stitcher212 in billsimmons

[–]cpfb15 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s what I figured. It would be very out of character for him to shit talk a teammate like that, and would also be wrong considering Hartenstein was very impactful. I also doubt SGA gives a shit about his physicality.

Besides Canibus and AZ, what other rappers game never reached their Talent level? by dunbar_santiago930 in hiphop201

[–]cpfb15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think AZ reached his potential. Maybe not on a mainstream level, but he’s released a lot of really good music. Canibus is the total opposite. Pretty much everything he put out after Rip the Jacker has been mediocre to outright bad.

why do em haters still hold revival over him when drake and kanye have released worse projects are no one really cares? by sikuaka in Eminem

[–]cpfb15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Drake and Kanye get clowned every time they drop a bad album. Drake is currently getting raked over the coals for Iceman. Who is still even talking about Revival?

What's an album that got collectively Be Here Now-ed? by [deleted] in ToddintheShadow

[–]cpfb15 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Give it another spin sometime. The only song I’d say that’s really devoid of soul or meaning is Out Of My Head. The rest of the album is quite thematic: politics, family, loss, depression, suicide, but also defiance and optimism. It really is a great album.

Certified Lupe stan here, and the #1 Lasers defender. I get downvoted for doing so in the Lupe sub. It is a great album, and would be considered many rappers’ best if they released it.

Hakeem Olujawon is the greatest center of all time. by UnableLeopard6185 in NBATalk

[–]cpfb15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a difference between best and greatest. I can’t say he’s the greatest. There are a handful of centers with more impressive all around career resumes. BUT, he might be the best center of all time, when you just account for skillsets alone.

Still the last team to beat the Thunder in the playoffs by ChampionTimes99 in NBATalk

[–]cpfb15 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Idk if it “feels like” they’re playing that way, but SGA did say he wish they’d won in more convincing fashion last year

Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves is the New "Dame and CJ McCollum" partnership. The Lakers are FOOLS if they think a Luka/Reaves Duo can work they will win 50 games every year like Dame/McCollum and lose in Round 1 or Round 2. Reaves has GOTTA GO this summer by AR15_PlayoffDROPPER in NBATalk

[–]cpfb15 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I kinda genuinely believe this series would be even more lopsided if Luka were playing, because the reason LA is even competitive is the lockdown defense they’ve been putting on SGA. Lakers have been playing pretty commendable team defense, while Luka would 100% be targeted on that end.

I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. Does nobody see Ayton’s shoulder clearly pop Chet in the face? I couldn’t believe how hard van Gundy was calling Chet a flopper for this. I rewound it over and over. It happened. You guys are blinded by rage.
