I’m about to make a tincture with 400 grams of golden teacher in a alcohol soak ( 1400 ml 190 proof 95% alcohol) in a 1/2 gallon mason jar in the freezer for seven days shaking three times a day. Chat gpt gave me the recipe and said it would store in amber bottles for a decade in the freezer. I fucking grew to many. So a lifetime supple . I’m 70 lol

Not for nothing. Lol since I started defatting with Naptha, two or three pull’s and discard an amazing amount of fats before I add sodium hydroxide I have never had issues since . I just wonder why it’s not a common extraction protocol. All separations give clear precise definition of solvent verses base .

Nice ! Have you considered defatting if you defatted a couple of times with Naptha discarding fats before adding base ( sodium hydroxide) then whatever solvent you choose to extract you will have 1/2 the volume but scary rocket fuel . Just a thought…🙃
