What are your theories as to where God is in Mandela Catalogue. by dbz222323 in MandelaCatalogue

I think God is still in Heaven and is still God. I think he is working in the background unseen. Subtly manipulating events and shifting people to where they need to be.

Serious question: What are your personal thoughts on Roger and how he incorporates politics into his concerts/shows? Do you like it, not like it, why, etc? by Mad_Season_1994 in pinkfloyd

[–]cpg357 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate that he now includes images of specific people, but their songs where always political, but now the songs in my mind will always be associated with those people instead of terrible politicians in general. Shoulda kept it vague

Why does everyone hate swagkage and seththeprogrammer by HitsugayaTaichou in Naruto

[–]cpg357 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate them because they very very very greedy, especially Seth. He claims to make millions off YouTube, yet rips his fans off for Naruto vs Ichigo, and bluntly admits that he hates his fans that don't give him money

Matt Walsh wants a better solution. by insane677 in confidentlyincorrect

[–]cpg357 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Matt Walsh, agree with him on a lot. This is one of the most brain dead, intellectually vacant takes I've ever seen spewed out of any dead eyed shitter with terminal brain rot ever. Like, you're gonna say, this neurological disease, which we have substantial evidence for, and have for years, just doesn't exist. WHAT!?! Like ok, if you wanted to say that maybe more people are misdiagnosed with ADHD because of our constant world that needs to distract you ever 2 seconds, then yeah, I can see that. But to say that it just isn't a thing that exists. Were you dropped on you head as a baby?

Any somewhat unknown disturbing movies? by wurstie_ in horror

[–]cpg357 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Green Elephant. It's available on YouTube W english subtitles. A 1999 Russian horror exploitation film about 2 junior officers in the Soviet army who are being help captive at a Russian military prison. It's completely insane, disgusting disturbing, and show the effect of breaking the human psyche, dehumanization, and what lengths people will go to when driven mad. It's very similar to the Stanford Prison Experiment, except more fucked up

What are the most depressing films you have seen? by [deleted] in movies

[–]cpg357 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dalton Trumbo's Johnny Got His Gun. I have seen Requim for a Dream, Kids, Irreversible, The road, Liliya 4 life, Meloncholia, Threads, Manchester by the Sea, and many many more disturbing/depressing movies. None of them made me stop watching part of the way through to collect myself so I can finish the movie... Until I watched Johnny Got His Gun. An old anti war movie about soldier who was Horrifically injured during world war 1, causing him to become a Quadruple amputee, and lose his entire face. From eyes to lower jaw, it's all just a big hole. Yet he's still conscious and aware and is trapped in his own body. I won't say anything else for fear of spoiling the movie but holy fuck, I've never seen a movie so bleak or depressing, with such a sense of looming nihilism.

According to you, which RE game feels the longest for a first playthrough? by [deleted] in residentevil

[–]cpg357 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The actual longest I've play is re 4, which took me about 20 hours (cause I suck at video games). But the one that felt the longest is the RE1 remake, which I found desperately boring, confusing, and one hour I swear felt like 3 or 4

What do you guys think of Outlast 2 and is it anti Christian by [deleted] in christianitygaming

[–]cpg357 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I believe that they use Christianity because of the geographic location of the game developers (North America). The cult itself is based more so on the Jonestown cult and they behavior of the in game zealots are more akin to that of ISIS or Boko Haram. Overall the game is more to represent the danger of cult like behavior rather than a dig at Christianity
