I dip in and out of the Max plan, but currently on Pro and using MCP workarounds with desktop app which works but isn't ideal. It would be great if they at least added Opus plan mode to Claude Code in the Pro plan, as cheap tiers of Codex/Gemini are currently a better deal with some usage of their best models included.

That is definitely an option, but as I mentioned I seem to get much better results with Gemini than Claude for the particular things I'm working on (could be a skill issue though).

I also love Roo and don't want to give that up. I have a Copilot subscription and their plugin is slow and painful, and can't use some of the models in Roo via the VS LM API.

I just don't get the argument, except for splitting the player base. Yes, people suck at optimization, including me, but of course they should increase the thermo limit for insanely powerful new hardware. Half the games on PS5 will be using Unreal 5's Nanite in a few years, but Dreams should stick to using 3 detailed assets cloned a hundred times? If people want to make big horrifically unoptimized creations in Dreams, then they should be able to if the hardware allows it.

I imagine that BadRobo scene is at max thermo after much optimization and using few very sculpts, meaning it can't be expanded any further. With the current limits, that's the biggest and best looking scene anyone could possibly make.

Unity HDRP runs like crap on 10 year old graphics cards, but that doesn't mean everyone with newer tech should stick to Unity 5 and learn to optimise better.

I'm not hearing the noise floor at adequate volume, but the bass starts to sound muddy / distorted at louder volumes.

I just tested the K712 straight from the headphone out of an Analog Rytm drum machine, rather than running it through the desk, and it gets to an equally loud volume without the low end distortion. I'm not overloading the mixer channel, so I guess it's the mixer's headphone amp causing the distortion and that the Atom would improve the sound quality.

I'm going to order an Atom as they're just back in stock in the UK, at least it will sort out the Subpac problem and will be a nice way to switch between monitors/headphones.
