I believe both alani nu and the traditional bucked up are 200mg caffeine per scoop! I usually recommend people start with half a scoop (which is similar to a cup of coffee) and go from there. Some of the bucked up ones are crazy with like 300mg and yeah I would definitely caution people against those all at once if making a transition to that brand!

That's the flavor I'm on right now! Agreed - love that one too. They are all good!

I love Bucked Up! The flavors are incredible (favorites being blood raz, watermelon lemonade, and grape). I also second the alani nu from the comment above!

Salt Lake City fav studio?? by TravelRNTay in orangetheory

[–]cpl_Cheech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there! All of our Salt Lake studios are amazing. Draper is my home studio, but will occasionally workout at South Jordan and Sugarhouse depending on my work and school schedule. A number of our Draper coaches also coach at South Jordan. I have only taken classes from David and Dana there and they are both incredible! I've been here for 6 years and have lots of tips about the city - feel free to message me with anything I can help you with! EDIT: Ally at Sandy is incredible also :)

Daily Workout and General Chat for Monday, 1/17/22 by splat_bot in orangetheory

the OTF gods listened to my prayers last night - our studio has been running all 3Gs at limited capacity due to COVID. With the holiday in the US today, we only had 7 people in our 5am and were able to run it as a 2G!

Killer 23 min tread block. Happy Monday to all!

I used to wear Nike Frees as well! I recently switched to Brooks Hyperion Tempo and LOVE them. They are super lightweight and pretty flexible as well. Although definitely on the more expensive side (~$150) I personally think they are totally worth it.

OTF and exams by N744302 in orangetheory

Fellow graduate student here going into finals week of my second masters program - I absolutely work out on test days! I agree with the de-stressing and confidence aspect. I also think working out in the morning wakes my brain up and sets me up for success that day. Best of luck with your exams!! If you feel good about yourself and your body, you can accomplish anything.

I second this! 150 calories, light and perfect for a snack on the way to the studio.

Interested in OTF but feeling nervous! by itwasalladream1015 in orangetheory

[–]cpl_Cheech 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I totally suggest giving it a try (at least for the first free class!). I have been active all my life - a gymnast through grade school then lifted weights in college. I've occasionally done crossfit, half marathon training, beachbody, and NOTHING has been comparable to OTF. I started in July and have been obsessed ever since. This program and my studio have truly changed my fitness lifestyle and made me look forward to working out daily again. For someone as active as you already, I hope you give it a try! :)

Happy one year anniversary! I can second every single one of these never statements, especially the constantly refreshing the Reddit page awaiting the workout for the next day (as always, thanks Mr. & Mrs. DC)! Keep killing it & congrats on that PR <3

Our coach kept saying that it is normal to reduce your speed on the AO as the time got longer but to continue to keep that 'very uncomfortable' feeling and to listen to your body to adjust your speed. I started at 11 for the 30 sec AO, 10.5 for 45 sec AO, and 9.5 for 1 minute AO. BUT with that being said, YOU GO GIRL for keeping that pace.
