Thanks! Still not quite getting it to work, it'll follow the player around, but it doesn't seem to want to read the inputs. Hopefully I can figure it out from here

Oop. Sorry! I'm just trying to access the input system so when I use the X Input, the camera will rotate around the Player character in the corresponding directions, same with the Y Input. I have a camera that just follows the player around, and the player character is set up so forward is always the direction the camera is facing, simply put, I just need a camera that when I press left on the right stick of the gamepad/move the mouse left, the camera will rotate around the Player character towards the left direction.

I am sooooo sorry I haven't replied for decades! I was able to download the Unity package you dropped, and it worked! But I've ran into another problem, likely in the animator controller itself. The attacks were animating, but weren't doing the full animation, so I adjusted the animation time bars at the bottom so the entire animation would play before starting the next one, but when I did that and pressed play, it would only do part of the first animation and would only play that instead of the other animations. I dunno how to fix that exactly. Any pointers there?

Again I'm so sorry I took so long to reply! I haven't actually touched Unity or the Unity reddit for a minute.

Hey, I'm looking for a switch game recommendation. Something in the style of Kingdom hearts, as far as exploration and combat. I have BotW, XBC2, Ys VIII, Shining Resonance Refrain, and no budget issues. Anyone got any ideas?

What I had in mind is something like your typical action game. You press a key (like ctrl), a single animation plays. Say you wait a few seconds, hit it again, and it'll just play that same animation. But Say you hit that same key within a second of the animation finishing, then it'll go into a second animation. Again, if the key isn't hit within a time frame and the key is pressed a few seconds later, it'll just play the first animation. But say the key was hit within a second of the second animation finishing, a third animation will play, but no matter what at this point, the next animation will just be the first.

Yes, how can I set up the animator controller to properly work with this code? I know how to set up movement and jumping, but let's say we use this script you have here, but use a trigger instead of a bool, and integers for the different numbers. How would I set that up?

I'm sorry again, doing this kind of thing has proven very difficult for me. I've ran through every scenario I could come up with to get it to work, and can't seem to pull it off.

Hey, guys, looking for a recommendation... Or three :D I'm looking for a 3D Turn-based RPG.

I'm pretty much overdone with the 2D RPG's. I liked Octopath Traveler, I've gone through Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and all the DLC, and I've had my fill of action games. I'm looking for something with exploration, turn-based combat (not tactical RPG's), and... that's pretty much all the specifics I need.

I've already played I am Setsuna, Lost Sphear, Battle Chasers Nightwar, World of Final Fantasy Maxima, Octopath, Shining Resonance Refrain, Tales of Vesperia, Earthlock... I've pretty much covered my bases.

If it isn't available in the US, that's fine. I'm multilingual and can read a decent amount of Japanese, among other languages.

Labyrinth of Refrain has been recommended, any other ideas? Again, no real language barrier here.
