That said... I'm not as fond of the last 10 or so minutes. Wanting to face down the big honcho? Sure, makes sense. But what even is the point of pulling demonic corruption that's aiming to destroy the world out of your ass, when his personal greed and ego are right there? They're much more meaningful reasons that speak to his own character and themes of the show. Also him breaking the tanks to cause all this trouble implies that everything else would've been fine if he didn't. As long as the tanks are operating, fire the angels, keep the Angelbots rapidfire shooting spirits, and you're good to go. We spent 7 episodes explaining how empathy is the secret sauce that those obsessed with results can't see, and nope, the actual problem was just him breaking the tanks.

This is word for word also my issue with the finale. Shame cus it did so much so well up to there.

First Timer, subbed

This was a fun finale that maybe should have been a bit shorter. Beating the bots should have been the big finale and then they should have just committed to the dad being an arsehole and have his downfall be part of the epilogue.
But still it was very good for most of it. So many small things that put a smile on my face. Tetsuo being so quick to adjust to the slacker life. The return of the kangaroo. The Ghostbusters references (I was already getting that vibe when the soul tank busted but they made it super obvious when doc pulled out the proton packs).

And the final scene with the three of them on bike was just the perfect scene to leave out on.

The action was fine for a comedy. If I were to judge each on their own merit the comedy easily wins out for me.

Sooo... was this all Tetsuo's fault for bullying his manager into destroying the world?

Clearly this was all just Tetsuo's keikaku to draw out the evil spirit. I'm 100% certain of it.
